This was not a simple item to find, Sears no longer manufactures this filter replacement. I am so glad that Amazon had it and had it at a better rate than Sears (Sears had a substitute filter).
The air filter fit perfectly on my 1998 46" Murray Hydrostatic mower with a 18.5 HP Briggs Engine. Easy to install and maintain.
I have a bionaire air purifier which requires replacement filters about once every 4-6 months or so, so I try to look for package deals that contain many of these replacement filters for a less expensive price, and I was glad to have found them! There are 2 replacement filters in one box that's especially made for the filters, which would be very appropriate if you are giving them as a gift. Along with each replacement filter, there is a little bar clip-on thingies included (if you own one of these purifiers, you'll know what I am talking about), which tend to easily be lost if you are changing filters and not paying attention. But since they come with the replacement filters in the box, you have extra ones in case you ever accidentally throw them away! In all, it was a great deal and i bought 2 boxes! I am happy with my purchase, and the delivery was super fast!

I just purchased the "New Green Air Pro" and it works great, much better than units I've purchased costing three times as much. The ozone generator gets rid of the worst of smells in my flat. I'm going to purchase another to replace a much larger unit. I'd recommend this unit to anyone looking for the best in air purifiers.
Alright, so I just bought this so I can't say much about reliability, but I had to post a review online because I'm incredibly impressed with they way my apartment smells now. I have 2 cats, and litterbox odor is a big problem for me...I'm a neat freak, and I can't stand anything that smells dirty so I went out and bought this to help take care of the issue.

So my son had allergies (just like his Dad did) and had to get on medication.So we bought this air purifier.I was impressed that it cleaned over 3000 square feet for being so compact. It was very quiet.We ran it on the other side of the house from where my sons room was but the next day his allergies went away and he was able to get off his medication.About a week later I noticed my sons allergies came back. I called my husband at work and he said he decided to give it a rest for a day and had shut it off.We turned it back on and the allergies went away.My husband was a believer!Right after we turned it on I noticed the house smelled clean like fresh air or something. I think thats because it has 6 seperate stages of purification to clean out everything.Within 30 minutes of me plugging it in I noticed a difference in the air.
Love this product, just wish Amazon would stop increasing the price.A filter should not cost almost as much as the actual unit itself.
I have been using these air fliters for about 15 years - along with many others I was disappointed when the manufacturer sold out to a different company who discontinued the filter packs - yes, I was one of those who kept buying new units after a few months - the air quality was noticably better when this was running - I have one in my office and people always remark how much better the air is in there. In any case, I have been browsing for this filter pack just hoping that it would show up again and KAZ (the aquiring company) must have seen all of the negative blogs and web sites I visited as they have made them again!! I ordered a bunch for the 3 units I have going (winter and summer) and will let my friends know they are available again - many of them liked the effect but refused to buy new units when the filters got gunked up.
Instructions for removing UV bulb are not clear; I broke mine when cleaning because the instruction manual was not very informative in how to remove the bulb and had to order a new bulb.Also the warning indicator light for the electrostatic filter was lit, inicating the filter had to be cleaned.When I dissasembled the filter, the electrostatic filter was very clean without any collected dust.
Buy this item and not the beads separate. It is almost impossible to pack the beads yourself,
What D Fraser said!!Also ended up buying stright from manufacturer for less then Amazon, although I paid almost $20 more then Fraser.Shipping from the manufacturer was free and fast via Fed Ex.Using in bedroom, seems to help with dog dander allergy (am on day 40 of the "100 day cough" and now developing asthma, ugh) and night time breathing is better and the room smells better.I think I'll buy another one for the living room of the house.Very happy with purchase.
I love Bionaire Air Purifiers! I really feel it makes a difference in my room. I don't have alleregies, but the room air seems fresher. Just a correction on the editorial review above: Fred is wrong! The BAP1300 uses four filters so you need to buy two a1230h.
I started to run this air purifier exactly 52 hours ago, and it has already changed my quality of life.
I really like this air cleaner.I have used several other models (sharper image, honeywell, etc.) and this is my favorite.I usually use level 1 at night, and level 2 during the day when I am home.Levels 3 and 4 are a bit loud.I like that I can program it to run for a certain amount of time and not have to worry about turning it off.On really hot days, i will actually program it to run for a few hours to keep the house cool for my pets.
This is the gas and odor filter for the IQAir Healthpro PLUS. You can upgrade a HealthPro to a Plus (check IQAir's website for details). I just got the Plus to start with, and my wife and I are glad we spent the extra money upfront.
As soon as I got it, I started it running full-speed in my 120sq.ft bedroom all evening and night. Within an hour or two of running, I could already tell a noticeable difference in the air quality. I have the ionizer running as well. The air is fresher, and I can breathe easier. It is the first time in years, I woke up without my nose and throat congested from my dust/mold allergies.

Any air filtration system is only as good as the filters it uses.If your system takes these filters, you have about the best of the best for allergens, dander and smoke removal short of the condensing units used for commercial purposes.I think it might even do better than those smoke eaters in bars.The ion sanitation will really change the air in your place in less than an hour.I can't recommend this filter enough, my first one is still working perfectly 6 months later at 2 hours a day use.
Great replacement filters, good value (3 pack).Hamilton Beach should, however, package them flat (not folded), so they can be installed properly on top of the main filter.
At first I was a bit iffy about whether the "air purifiers" really made that much of a difference.But this one looked cool so I thought I'd give it a try...and let me tell you, it really DOES WORK!! After having it on a medium setting for just an hour I could significantly tell a difference in the way the room felt. The air seemed fresher, easier to breathe and just overall clean.
If the price of the unit and scent accessories was lower I would have given five stars.
I bought these to put in a house I had up for sale to keep the air fresh as the house was no longer occupied and was closed up; they worked great and their low profile was an added plus.I now have them in my house and they work wonderfully.
Just don't forget to buy some charcoal pads along with these filters.
Before we moved into a house we lived in an apartment with a poorly-maintained a/c. It also didn't help that for a day or two it seems the filter wasn't in its proper place and so a lot of dirt/dust made it's way to the coils indoors. A couple of treatments with this foam seem to make the difference between marginal performance and almost normal performance of our a/c system.
It's aways good to find original parts when you can and even better when they are at a low price like with Amazon.
I've been running the older version of this air purifier 24 X 7 for over 10 years...maybe 12.It is backed up against a wall in a vaulted-ceiling room between a piano and organ where cats like to play.It takes up very little space and consumes a great deal of dust and hair. The exhaust blows straight up the wall which is perfect for this location.Recently, it began emitting a high-pitch, undulating squeal.I assumed that the sealed bearing on the motor shaft was wearing out.So, I ordered this new Hunter Air Purifier.In the mean time, I placed the old squeaky cleaner on its back and soaked the motor shaft with CRC Heavy Duty silicone spray while turning the shaft with my hand for 5 minutes.That was a month ago and it is still running as smoothly and quietly as new.The new cleaner is still in the box, however, I did test it to make certain that it was in good working order.
The year's supply of filters costs much more than the unit.Note, however, that you can get them from the holmes site for cheaper if you buy a larger pack - four filters cost around $50.
I reviewed several air purifiers before purchasing the Hamilton Beach 04160 with UV light unit.With all the misleading information on HEPA fitlers, ionic and electrostatic units on the market it can be hard to find exactly what you need. My son has asthma and we all have air borne allergies.Since installation of the unit, in the family room and bed room, the level of dust has decreased and my son has not had an asthmatic attack either.All air purifiers make noise. I give the level of noise a #2 with #1 being very quite. For the price of the unit, price of replacement parts and the quality of performance Hamilton Beach is the one I selected.
Ordinarily I would not be particularly excited about odor-removing filters.However, I was surprised after installing my first replacement set of odor filters that my purifier (model 04163) ran much quieter at the lowest speed setting.I'm not entirely sure of the added electrical cost of running these filters (I have pet birds that generate a lot of dust and dander and the filters run 24/7), but it may be that the reduced fan speed to get the same air discharge will save me money.Nice!
I have been using this Holmes Air Purifier for several months and can give it my 5 STAR recommendation.
As someone who is highly allergic to cigarette smoke and other air pollutants and irritants, I purchased a round Honeywell HEPA air filter when it first came on the market several years ago. It still works well in the living room, but it is quite noisy even on its lowest setting.
We bought this for our 12X15 computer room.I smoke and it is the only room in the house where this is allowable.
I bought one of these about a year and 1/2 ago b/c it was cheaper then Sharper Images but was doubtful it would work well or for very long b/c it was cheaper.
I decided to get this air cleaner after trying the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze and a larger Honeywell HEPA filter. At the time of purchase, the Sharper Image was the only one with a permanent filter. This was a big plus for me seeing as the older HEPA cleaners have 2 filters to replace, the larger one being nearly the price of the machine. This Honeywell tower has a permanent filter.
When a filter is installed in the unit it doesn't seat against the unit very well and just hangs by the guides on one side. However, when the unit is turned on the filter is pulled against the unit by the fan suction to form a satisfactory seal.
My wife has severe allergies and even though she is a clean freak, up until now we could not find anything that could help her. We own two dogs and the combination of the odor and dander was just debilitating. We bought this product about 3 weeks ago. After the 3rd day the change was noticeable. Our house does not smell like dogs and she has not sneezed once (she used sneeze at least 50 times from the time she entered the house in the afternoons until she went to bed!) She also used to take 3 different allergy pills, now the combination of just Zertec and this product has literally eliminated her allergies and asthma.
